MacBeth Weathered Tartan is a muted blue based tartan with shades of olive, rust, cream and mustard.
MacBeth is said to mean "Son of Life" and is derived from the Gaelic MacBheathian. In the 16th and 17th centuries, two families of the name practised medicine in the Highlands, and it is claimed their name was later changed to Beaton. MacBeth, King of Scotland, came to the throne in 1040 and ruled for 16 years.
