These flashes are custom made from our medium weight (Braeriach 13oz.) tartan fabric. Garter flashes are pieces of fabric that hang from the outside of your hose (socks) in matching tartan to your kilt. They are attached to elastic which fastens with a hook and clasp under the cuff of your hose. These garter flashes are doubled meaning they have 2 pieces of fabric (flash) per garter.

OUtstanding complement to my Macpherson Kilt
Had the luck to purchase a Burnett's & Struth Casual Kilt in MacPherson Modern Red, and wanted to complete the outfit with matching flashes. The flashes arrived well within the estimated time period, and are very well made. Precision stitching and they chose an interesting section of the tartan to highlight.
